About Us Associated Metal Finishers Associated Metal Finishers, a proprietary company was started in 1983 by Lincoln.K.Rowland, an entrepreneur, who was an ex-employee of National Aerospace Laboratories in Bangalore. The beginning was at ‘IV’ ‘T’ block Jayanagar, but gradually, we, moved into our own premises at #32 Prathiba Industrial Estate, Yelachanahalli Bangalore. From a humble beginning of making Long Life Soldering and De-soldering Bits [Rowland-Phi-the original trade name], we then started to manufacture Electroplating and Anodizing systems and several Chemical process lines etc; Later, we, moved into the then (1997) new technology of Photo Voltaic Chemical Wet Brench systems, the very first one for the famous “TATA-BP-Solar Ltd who were the first Indian company with a British collaboration to set up a 12MW plant and the complete modular seven stage Wet Fume stations were totally designed, manufactured and installed by AMF including the pollution lines; next, followed the same systems for BEL and BHEL-electronics Division
