In a world driven by technology and in a generation that survives on readymades, instant coffee and two-minute noodles, Tom & Tang is envisaged to become the go-to place in the world of delicious snacking. Mr Bikash Goenka saw this as a genuine consumer need and envisioned P.L. Industries and the brand Tom & Tang to foray into the snack food business with a healthy alternative, and an irresistible value for money. He started the first manufacturing unit in North East Mega Food Park Ltd. Nathkuchi Village, Tihu, Dist: Nalbari, Assam, India. Sales operations have started in 2019. Based amongst the lush greens of Assam in the heart of northeast where industrialization is yet to take over the organic, the manufacturing unit of Tom & Tang is built over an area of 20,000 square feet. The entire production process is designed with the latest generation technology that guarantees highest standards of hygiene and goodness. The motivated employees manage the exclusive in-house packaging unit, which takes care of the standard packaging requirements so as to preserve the delicious taste, freshness and aroma within the packets till they reach the consumers. We make sure that our food is as clean and pure as our land. Notwithstanding and overcoming the numerous hurdles that regional entrepreneurship faces in this side of the country, Tom and Tang is able to deliver its tasty, crispy and crunchy snacks all over the Northeast. Besides this, equal emphasis is given on advertising and channelizing communication that ensure adequate market pull of the products. Company is making effort effectively in distributing the products through an extensive network of wholesalers and retailers who add value to the supply chain. All this will make the company an undisputed king of product and taste in the minds of the consumers. The company will make tremendous efforts for innovative taste and delicious products that spread love, happiness & enhance relationships. |
